Hey friends!

I finally found a doctor who was not dismissive about everything I've been struggling with. We talked about meds and doing blood work. He asked if I had any ideas on meds or wanted to research them myself first and I was just like I literally do not have the bandwidth to research multiple meds AND choose one. Lol

Anyway. I started Adderall XR three days ago and I don't know what I was expecting exactly for symptoms and side effects or just in general but it's been interesting noticing everything.

The first day I could literally feel the drugs in my brain. It reminded me of muscle relaxers with how foggy/cloud that it feels like. But without the fog part of. Its like a cloud that is hovering but makes me feel focused. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's weird (like a good weird as of right now).

Also, on the plane of familiar feelings but different. I constantly have that feeling in my stomach that reminds me of feeling nauseous or anxious, but I do not actually feel nauseous or anxious. So not sure about that one.

I did notice this morning that I am a little less impulsive with tiny actions. Like I was opening something up and immediately was like just throw the plastic bit on the ground, but instead of doing it my brain was just was able to reconsider that action and not do it. So that was a nice surprise to notice.

Not sure the point of this post exactly I guess just hoping for some commonality among others.
