Got these summer staples - Azzaro Pour Homme, 212 Nyc Men, Coty Aspen
These are some real bangers for summers, got them after trying them once in a store. All three are different, though aspen is very close to cool water.
Coty aspen opens with forest type of smell. It is not that green that you get in Tres nuit grassy green. This green mostly is little citrus type of green mixed with lavender. Same lavender that you get in coolwater. You will not find this interesting after it starts the transition to mid and base.
The lasting for aspen is approximately 4 hours which is on skin, and on clothes it is can be detected after 6 hours also if you smell it pretty close. Projection is 1 hour max. But this is a good scent for post shower continuation, or to freshen up after coming back from office or college. This smells pretty close to coolwater, but coolwater smells soapy vs this smells foresty green. I got this for 1 reason, it is a legacy perfume. Will use it judiciously and keep it for lifetime. Do not buy for full day lasting, i stead buy coolwater of you like the scent profile.
212 nyc men - Starts with a citrus and has a distinct smell backing it. It might feel like some kind of leaf or grass mixed with ginger. For most of its lifetime this smells woody, and has a powdery nature to it. Many people might not enjoy it. The green background smell is something that is not very crowd pleasing smell. Lasts for good 6-8 hours with 10 sprays. Try before you buy!
Now Azzaro pour homme - starts with fresh herbs and spices like sage, basil, caramom, nutmeg backed with a citrus profile. This will remind you of old spice after shave. Makes you feel fresh. Post 15 mins starts its transition to become a fougere fragrance with iris kind of butteriness and some vetiver. This is what I like the most. It makes me feel nostalgic. This is what I wear to office lasts for a full work day with 10-12 sprays. It is not a ground breaking smell, you will feel you have smelt it before.
