It seems the ez flash 3 in 1 and the ez flash omega are impossible to find. And only one eBay listing well over 200$…. Surely there’s another option? Can’t find anything on Ali. All help greatly appreciated.
I’m no stranger to doing these projects. It’s actually a bit of a hobby of mine. I like to restore then pretty much the console just sits on my shelf forever.
I was fortunate to get a ds lite with Pokémon black from my father in law he found in his storage unit for free. The screens are pretty worn and the shell is rough.
So gonna do a shell swap. And replace digitizer which should essentially get rid of all scratches and minor damage on the bottom screen.
But I’m perplexed. Does the top screen not have a plastic cover or something over the lcd? My lcd works fine but I’d wanna try to replace the cover if it has one to get rid of any scratches and scuffs.
It seems there isn’t a cover and I’m gonna have to replace the whole lcd.
I’ve ordered my digitizer and new shell so I’m waiting for those to arrive before I disassemble and restore the interior. But if someone could shed some light on this for me so I know if I can order another screen cover or just a new lcd all together. I’d like to keep the oem lcd but not if it means living with these scratches… thanks in advance.
Like a shorter flash cart that will stay flush and not protrude from my ds lite console ? Surely someone has made one by now.
