Fossiliferous rock? Seashells embedded in it.

Replacing some old light switches in my house from the 70s. None of these switches appear to have a ground - looks like the ground wires are just bundled in the back. The new switches have a screw for a ground. Is it just as simple as unbundling the bare copper wire at the back and connecting to the ground screw?

As a bonus - the middle switch is three-way switch - is there an easy way to tell which wire goes where on the new switches? Idk what is power vs neutral vs “traveler” wire.
