As title says, I’m looking to lower my gti. I have a 2021 autobahn with dcc, and was reading into lowering springs vs coilovers. I was looking into the b16s I think, or b14s. I don’t remember. But theyre were like $2000 or something insane. Then I’d have to get the dcc canceller, which is another 400. So I’d be spending 2500 on suspension.

Then I looked into lowering springs, and I can get a set for like $400. But looking into the lowering springs, I now understand that it will significantly lower the strut lifespan. So my question is, do I bite the bullet and spend almost $3000 on coilovers? Or just get lowering springs?
