Cradle Catholic here who married, at the time, a brand new convert & former atheist.
Now says he doesn’t think he was ever truly Catholic. I’m not the most devout Catholic myself but still hold the core spiritual beliefs of the church. For my husband, it’s the opposite. He’s very attracted to the rituals and traditions but admittedly was never a very spiritual person.
He is still insistent on attending weekly mass and following the rituals even after admitting lack of faith. With no intent on restoring faith. I’m finding myself growing resentful and I don’t know what to do.
