Just went for check up with dentist after pain in tooth and apparently there is an infection under the tooth with no cold sensitivity but pain when biting and swelling in gums can someone help me out. Might need a root canal

Recently experiencing a hollow sort of pain on lower left farthest tooth which is worse when jaw is in certain position, gum feels raw around outside of the tooth
