Vijay met every other politician. BJP a pakkala. seri vidu. He met his 'enemy' stalin, seeman, anbumani, others and even cv shanmugam. But not meeting EPS was very indecent. He is officially the leader of ADMK. He even spoke about an alliance with vijay at some point. Senior statesman. Happened in assembly too when EPS greeted vijay after oath taking and vijay acted as if he didn't see. It grossed me a bit that vijay was doing it. Navodaya schools are not allowed in TN. Navodaya schools are central govt funded schools, closely following CBSE syllabus. They are free of cost. For rural children and they take in only a few gifted children. Across India, there are currently 661 navodaya schools. That is roughly 20 per state. That is all. 20 is a miniscule number.

Arguments against them are stupid. TN has only 2 language policy nu. This is a voluntary system. Just like any private CBSE school in TN. If students don't want to join them, they can join TN govt schools. No one is forcing them. Yaarume join pannalana, avangale school a mooditu poiduvanga. I hope Vijay atleast sees sense and allows, but i have slim hopes. He is copying everything DMK does.

Initially, there were talks that vck was getting some ministry but they wanted dy cm. Ippo paatha, outside support? Makes no sense. I have a feeling this is to collapse the government later. We might see another election soon.

One of the first things Vijay has to do is release Savukku. Let TN not be a police state anymore and allow journalists/influencers etc to freely criticize him.

Contrary to what many people thought, BJP did not care about the election in TN. Removed annamalai. EPS enna vena pannatum nu free a vittanga. They have done really well this election. Retained power in assam, Pondicherry. Captured power in Bengal. Managed to get 3 seats in kerala. TN la, even though ADMK is out badly, DMK is also out. ADMK performing badly is actually good news for BJP. Annamalai might be back as leader soon.

Next year, there are crucial states up for re election. UP and Gujrat. If they retain power there, their next target would be TN and Punjab. I think we can expect some interesting developments late next year or early 2028.

People like to compare vijay and MGR saying that he followed MGR's footsteps. But vijay has pulled off is much more impressive than what MGR did. MGR came out and started his party in 1972 and contested his first election in 1977. MGR got 33.52% in a 3 corner fight (ADMK, DMK and INC). This is after many years in DMK and close to 20 years of political brainwashing and selling dravidian propaganda on screen. MGR had allies when contesting.

In contrast, what vijay has pulled off is much more impressive. Same three corner fight. But ADMK and DMK have gamed the constituencies much more and control every small thing. Insane amount of money given. TN media under DMK control. Vijay had no allies. Solo. Very minimal propaganda in movies (JN not released, but even if you take movies like thalaiva, lot of scenes were cut). But he has managed to get even more than MGR (34.92%).

I voted against vijay. It needs to be seen how he will perform and if he will retain this. But there is no denying he pulled off something insane.

IMO Vijay > MGR.

Oru election la thotha, odane uyire pora madhiri oppari vekkaringa. abuses, insults and vanmam. Learn from the resilience of NTK. I have many issues with them, but i admire the resilience with which they keep fighting. Adhe madhiri next election la DMK will win. We will fight appidinu solradha vittutu oppari na appidi oru oppari. calling everyone tharkuris and mentally ill. Indha tharkuris ungalukku vote potta thaan da neenga next election la win pannuvinga. Worst sportsmanship.
