Upcoming 12th grader and I need some help !
I know this sub is for grade 12s in Alberta but I have a serious question. My grade 11 marks so far for this year were rough (left the country two times in a span of three months for emergency reasons), finished first semester off with a 77 on physics 20, 85 on math 20-1, and an 80 for english 10-1. I am currently taking social 20-1, chem 20, and bio 20 (even though I don't really need this class for my apps next year). I am thinking of applying for engineering program in UofA after i graduate and my physics and math grade are daunting me. I've heard from conversations that 70s to mid 80s barely make the cut for a competitive program like eng at UofA.
What I already did was that I am planning to retake physics 20 in summer with Vista Virtual, and I don't really know if that was a good idea. I am also planning to get rid of social 30-1 by taking it with my local summer school, also not thinking that this is a good idea too.
If you have any tips or suggestions, please leave them below! Doesn't matter if you are a current 12th grader or at uni already, any input can help! Thank you!!!
