Referral Set Up Help
Hi everyone,
I am on the HRIS team at my company and implemented Workday not too long ago. I feel like I’m missing something when it comes to how we set up referrals. We use refer a candidate and have referral ownership level set on the candidate level with a 12 month ownership period. I am noticing candidates will apply to one job req with one email and then months later, apply through a referral link with another email. These profiles get merged and even though they applied without the referral link first, the referral candidate owner is still showing the referrals name from the 2nd application and it’s getting through the one time payment for referral step. At this point we do end up catching it but still, it’s not the cleanest of processes. Does anyone have experience with this and have any advice? TIA
