For years my moms lived in Poughkeepsie ny, at first the mail was delivered around 6/7pm. Progressively it's moved to 8pm, to this day my mother expects her mail anywhere between 6-8pm. She orders quite a bit of packages and being in a wheelchair realistically with how much energy she has considering her medical condition she can only make it to her mailbox twice a week at most.. recently she told me they've been stuffing packages into her mailbox and she no longer gets them straight to her door. Any other situation I couldn't care less but this is my mom, I'm simply asking for a bit of consideration instead of stuffing everything into her mailbox till it falls out upon opening.
