I don’t mean this in any way disrespectful. But I always wonder if people with schizophrenia are actually seeing things that are real and we just can’t see them and we’re calling them mentally ill.

This guy (M18) said he wants to talk and “get to know me (F17)” Right after that, he said “I love you.” I’m so confused, when did getting to know someone involve saying I love you??? I’m really not a fan of love bombing it annoys me because how can someone just throw that word around like it’s nothing.
I tried asking him what’s does the word “Love” mean to him and he said “It means I wanna be with you and marry you”
i’m pretty sure this is an immaturity thing right?
Is this like a universal thing or what?
Btw I’ve only know him for a week…
