So I fell into the craziest deal of my life when it comes to guns, slr 106cr and a matching big brother 107, never been fired rifles. 2 grand for both. Been sitting in a safe for 15 plus years. Ive had a couple arsenals so im familiar but never messed with the slr line. Researching I found out about the potential feeding issues with the 106 early runs. This serial number is 0121 so theres a good chance this one will jabe the incorrect feed ramp. Anyone run into this issue and how did you fix it? Ive heard about carefully dremmeling the feed ramp, while im not new to doing those kinda "mods", doing it on a rifle you can no longer get is alittle intimidating.. anyone do this method? Any tips? Recommendations? I wanna run this 556 so bad. Havent shot them yet. And yes, I plan on doing the sbr paperwork and making them 12.5 inch barrels once I find out about this feed ramp.
