With the end of the show I’m just as distraught as a lot of you. But I did kinda have a bright spot in these dark times.

When Dan started to grow peppers back in the day it really sparked an interest in me to do the same. I really enjoyed it but never could get them to fruit more than a few and kinda gave that up.

I had stopped listening to knowledge fight around the time of the election as I just needed a little breaky from everything happening. Not to long ago i decided to pick it back up and with that I started to try and grow peppers again.

When I saw the news of the podcast stopping I was upset but listened to the episode anyway. After I had gotten through it all and dried my eyes I went to go check on my seeds….

Lo and behold they started sprouting on the same day, and that truly helped bring me back.

This to me was my bright spot, Dan was the one who got me interested in growing peppers and while I might not get to hear anything new from them, at least I’ll remember them through this and thank them for getting me started on a hobby I truly enjoy.

Figured it could give this another shot and see what’s out there. Wanna say up front that I’m not looking for anything super serious, just see where things go.

Anywho, to get started, the names Dakota. I’m 27 from Texas, I work from home so I have a decent bit of free time on my hands and I’m trying to not go stir crazy 😅 but I’m currently in DC for a work trip!

I like to try and go to the gym daily to stay in shape, not huge by any means but I’d say an athletic build. 6’0 with dark brown curly hair and blueish eyes, pale as the driven snow even though I live in the south lmao.

I listen to way way too much music, I typically stick within the punk/pop-punk/metal/rock genres but really will listen to anything. Other than modern country, get that garbage out of here. Would love to chat music with someone who vibes with the same stuff, maybe throw some recommendations around and see what’s sticks.

Other than music I play games like overwatch, souls games, survival crafts, rougelikes. As well as board games and card games. I have a hell of a pokemon and yugioh collection. Maybe we could trade some cards? 👀

I got a pup who is my everything, obviously willing to share pics of her if you want, honestly may just force them on you she’s just that cute.

I work in the nonprofit industry. Helps me feel like I’m doing good work that actually helps people.

But other than that I’d say that I’m just looking for some good conversations that will last longer than a day or two. Like I said up top, nothing super serious, just seeing where things take us in the end. Not a huge fan of small talk as I can get bored kinda easy. Other than that down to talk about whatever is on your mind as long as it’s longer than a one word message lmao
