I’ve had a lot of people message me but no one actually responsive- https://www.99acres.com/3-bhk-bedroom-independent-house-villa-for-rent-in-sector-28-chandigarh-2925-sqft-spid-F90243756

The rent is highly negotiable for the right tenant. Everyone is suggesting Airbnb. My parents are not keen and it’s my parents’ property. I can’t make decisions on their behalf.

We’re open to families, couples, LGBTQIA positive, pet friendly and kid friendly too! Like it’s your life, your choice, we just want responsible upstanding people as this used to be my gran’s house who loved it so dearly that we want to ensure there’s lots of happiness in this space!

If anyone is a broker please reach out!

Hi there! My family has recently inherited a house in sector 28 or 18? Unsure but it’s prime location. The house for rent is ground floor, fully furnished, has 3 bed rooms, 2 courtyards and a servant’s quarter. It’s been 2 months and we don’t know how to get it let? Like do we go to a broker? Is there an online portal? It’s on 99 acres but that’s a dead end?

We’re super chill and are open to young professionals or families or even married or unmarried couples (if you want to live with eachother, it’s your choice) and single people or whatever, just not super young people under 20, as this was my gran’s house. We don’t live there so don’t know a lot of people through word of mouth. What do we do? How do people get their homes let usually?

Any recommendations would help

Not quite a HENRY household but we’re working towards it. I’m on £65k +10% bonus and my partner is on £75k + 5% in London. My partner works in a stable industry and role and he basically needs to stay at his current company till he retires as there’s literally nothing better in his field.

I on the other hand have sort of hit the ceiling on my pay. Directors in my industry make no more than £90k and I don’t want to be a director on £90k. I work in hospitality as a marketer. Not only do I hate this industry but market salaries for my level are no more than £45k- £55k with no bonus attached. Really knackered at my current role and want to switch to financial services or tech. I have solid experience in both these industries from a past life and now want to jump in. Part of it is also just leaving my really toxic work culture behind.

I’ve been told that “I’m too qualified” for the roles I’ve been interviewing for in these spaces and I’m just gutted. I don’t think that I am and the pay is substantially higher in these other sectors closer to £70-£75k with bigger bonuses and more progression.

I am now considering going for more junior roles in these industries. I’ll dumb down my cv and be “less” in interviews. The salary will be around £50-£56k, but this is just a going down to go higher plan.

Has any real HENRY ever done this. Am I stupid to consider it?

The biggest problem? I hate my role so much that I want to quit without anything lined up which is not possible because we have financial messiness that we are cleaning up now. I want to switch and grow I don’t want to stand still or take 2 steps back.

Any advice would be grand. Nastiness will be retorted to.
