I think I messed up

I got the go ahead to try adhesive yesterday. I got Fixodent Plus put it on at 5am,according to the directions; it’s now 12 hours later and my teeth are still stuck tight.
Upside is I could finally gently chew Mac and Cheese
I have a limit of 4 soft liners on my immediate set before I get charged so I’m using adhesive to try and get as much wear as possible before asking for liners:

Do you wash your dentures after everything you eat?

I’m still relatively new and I do rinse them, but I can’t see carrying around dish soap to wash them each time I each time

I’ll ask my dentist too,but is it normal for o have bleeding/oozing when relearning how to chew? I’m 8 days past extraction and tried chewing some ground beef at dinner and now I’m bleeding and very sore

I’m 5 days post extraction with immediates and I still can’t chew
I am swallowing things whole or just drinking.
It’s like I can’t chew no matter how hard to try

E Day was the 29th. I took my teeth out to clean and saw myself in the mirror and I was so disgusted by my appearance and that I’m at this point. I just made an agreement with my husband that when I’m doing denture things he is not to come into the bathroom until I’m done.I can’t handle the thought of him seeing me toothless.
Please tell me I’m not alone

Hello my denture sherpas

I had a full upper and partial lowers placed yesterday immediately after extraction. I’m supposed to remove them to clean and a salt water rinse tonight or tomorrow. My fear is removing them just long enough to clean and my gums swelling and not being able to get them back in.

Does that actually happen? It would probably be less than 5 minutes?

I am worried that if I do it tomorrow and my gums swelling I’ll be without teeth all weekend and that is also terrifying to me

No one actually told me how to remove them and I don’t want to break them accidentally

Help!!

I was without dental care for a long long time and needed significant work. I ended up needing a full upper denture, partial lower, one filling. All work was prepaid before I could even book the appointment and came out to just over $11k.

I had the extractions and immediates placed yesterday and I was supposed to have the filling done as well.

Here are my concerns

  1. The filling wasn’t done

  2. My after care instructions are less then one page. I have no idea how to care for myself or these dentures except to leave them in for 24 hours.

I have a follow up scheduled for 5/8 and I’m going to need to push to have the cavity filled as I don’t have unlimited PTO to keep taking g time off to finish what was supposed to be done yesterday

Am I unrealistic for feeling kind of abandoned and let down?

▲ 100 r/dentures

I got a full upper and partial lower

26 teeth extracted, alveolar, tori removal and a cut lip toe. The planned conscious sedation didn’t work,so just nitrous and Novocain.

I think I love my new smile,it just doesn’t feel like mine yet

…..and I’m not going to lie. I spent all day trying wishing I’d get a phone call to reschedule. I know that waiting won’t magically fix my mouth and it’s better to do it now instead of risk more infections

I’ll have conscious sedation and I pray I forget the whole experience and that it’s quick and uneventful

Please tell me how extractions were the easy part for you
