Hello, I have a question about running 5 Gig from frontier on my home phone lines. We had this installed a few years ago when we had 2 gig and then we upgraded to 5 gig for the faster WiFi speed. Recently we have had issues with connectivity dropping and slow speeds then back up to normal. My wife does teleahealth all day and she has noticed a lot more connection issues and quality of the virtual calls. One of the routers has started losing connection with the main gateway. I called frontier and they sent two replacement routers. I have 2 X eero WiFi 7 routers. My question is can this 5 gig speed cause issues with the phone line such as heat or a fire? What are the limitations on the phone lines? I’m no expert and I just want to rule out the line being the issue.
