My parents are 54 and 62, and lately I can visibly see that their strength and overall energy levels have gone down. They’ve never really had protein shakes before, but I want to help them increase their protein intake a bit, maybe around 30–40g per day and a protein shake seems like the easiest option.
Would love to hear from people who’ve introduced protein powder to their parents:
Which brand/variant did they like the taste of?
Which ones were easy on digestion and caused the least issues (bloating, stomach discomfort, etc.)?
Did you go for whey isolate, plant protein, or something else?
Any experiences or suggestions would really help!
