13 years old and still alive on the original battery

Sold my Garmin Forerunner and decided I would check and see if my old Pebble was still alive. Low and behold, it is! Charged it last Sunday so battery life isn't awful either, it receives notifications and run my alarms daily without hiccups. The classic screen going unintelligible every once in a while is still present but that's a quirk more than a problem. Anyone else still rocking their original old Pebble Watch?

It's been a problem across multiple GPUs so I've concluded it's tied to this monitor (same as with my cousin's G9 240 Hz OLED) where the monitor refuses to wake up. I've tried to manually turn off the monitor with my PC and then turn it on later, that is hit or miss. Biggest problem is when I lock the computer and come back later to wake it up, the monitor throws a fit and I can choose to wait a few minutes and see if it resolves itself or just pull the power and see it come back to life immediately.
G8 and neighbouring Lenovo are on DP, little panel below G8 is on HDMI. I've tried several DP cables as well, no dice. I am now looking into RMA if there's no obvious fix besides the usual things that I have already disabled in the monitor settings and in windows.
