Got interview but low gpa ( Campus hire )?

I got an interview for associate position. Basically I did bachelors ( 2.2 gpa ) , then did a 1 year local college cert in accounting ( 3.5 gpa ) , also worked full time 1 year in audit small firm.

Since its only been 1 year technically out of school they considered me and I submitted my "most recent" transcript which is from the local college.

Interview went well and never asked about my gpa but wondering if they will revoke me on the background check.

Is it true sound FEELS quieter with proper closure?

When I get tighter closure, by using a high note position and not blowing too much air I feel the sound is smaller inside my head. When I am excessively blowing air it felt ringier in my head. IDK if it makes sense.

Big 4 interview but 2.2 undergrad gpa?

My resume

- bachelors in econ 2.2 gpa

- Certificate accountng 3.4 gpa

- 1 year audit experience in small firm

I didn't list any GPA on my resume and when they told me to upload transcript I have the newest one which is from that certificate program.

Why do a lot of people online defend terrible behavior? ( Especially racial )

There was a case where a high school literally stabbed and killed another kid over a seat and if you look on subreddit there are group of people defending it saying " keep ya hands to yourself." I just won't understand how can some people think like this. This is pretty common on social media. Saw a Indian security guard trying to prevent a guy from stealing and a black dude just smashed the alcohol over his head. Again, same justification " keep your hands to yourself."

Why am I so productive on work days while so unproductive on weekends?

On weekdays I can come home after a long day and still be extremely productive. Whereas on weekends even getting out of bed and making breakfast is a pain? What causes this?

Its almost like resting makes me even lazier.

How valuable is the CPA license in the finance field?

Accounting, professors say its the building block of business and the language we must know. However, how come lots of CPAs sort of stagnate and aren't hired OUTSIDE of public accounting. Won't tax CPAs make great wealth managers. Won't auditors know the ins and outs of financial statements.

Why aren’t there more accounting content creators?

There is huge demand for knowledgeable tax accountants and even general accountants who can explain how businesses work to the general public. I see these people go viral for the most basic tax advice.

I rarely see accounting well represented, especially tax accountants would be loved.

How hard is it for Canadian senior accountant to get offers to USA?

I know in the past a lot of Canadians could get transfers from Big 4 or public. Or even industry accountants made the switch from Canada to USA>

Wondering if its still possible as a Canadian to make the jump.

Cause basically there is 2 huge barriers: not living in the country + sponsorship ( TN )

Partner expects me to lead my own files after 1 year?

Our clients are quite small so our audit field work is probably done in 1 day and we just balance the financial statements then present them. All done by 1 person.

I honestly don't think I can handle and entire file. I can solve working papers and see them work but don't have deeper knowledge to present or really understand the deeper why of how things work. Also quite crazy to me I am 1 year out of school and expected to advise these people.....

I make 50k in HCOL.

Is it normal in public audit?
