28M. I just recently learned about gum recession, and that I apparently have a thin gum biotype. I have been brushing quite aggresively for a while, before starting to be gentler last year.
Internet says, that gum recession is basically inevitable with thin gums. Is there really nothing I can do to prevent it, and they'll just pull away from the teeth at some point regardless? Should I save up for a gum graft in the future? What is my prognosis? 🥲
I'm very sad and concerned about it, I would really appreciate your insight. 🙏
