In January I dyed my hair red w a red hi lift (no bleach) dye and it worked great, and now I wanna re dye it cause it faded + hair grew out but I’m worried it’s going to look weird / blotchy if I do.

I heard that it doesn’t really work on non virgin hair—like it’ll only make the colour a little brighter. If that’s the case, can I just dye my hair (virgin + non virgin parts) with it? Would it turn out the same?

Cause the way I’m thinking about it is that since it doesn’t work as well on non virgin hair, it won’t turn out too bright and look like it did before.
