Mad Max Fury Road: People Eater’s Limousine

The People Eater’s Limo was actually easier than I was expecting, however I spent most of the time sourcing a material that I felt appropriate for the Lattice-cut windows. I attempted with different materials including stickers, cloth and different types of mesh but none of these were making the cut, in the end I used some HO Scale boat railings I found, as it was very important to me that it was 3D, hollow and patterned.

The original plan was just making the Semi, as I don’t have space to store the cargo/refinery. My cars go on acrylic cases that are the same size as the base, however I am not completely opposed to the idea of making the complete cargo in the future if I find a box that could fit it, but for now I made it closer to the 3D Artist rendition in the last picture.

I’m pretty happy with the base, as I was experimenting with new stuff such as the AK Interactive Crackle effects and making rocks out of foam for the first time, both turn out pretty well to me.

For the big rig base I used a 1:64 JKM FAW MV3 and for the car itself it’s a Jiyi x GOC 230E V123 Mercedes Benz, and 3D printed parts.
