Tamiya Nissan Skyline GTR R34 (V-Spec II Nur)

Annndddd that’s the third kit done! First time using an airbrush with lacquer paint. I decided to take things a whole new level and finally use the airbrush that has been sitting inside the box for months.

A clean and simple build goes a long way. Painted the body with Pearl White and the interior with flat black, the seat accents and window trims were hand painted.

Using an airbrush isn’t as difficult as it seems, lots of patience and a respirator is all you need; because of that, I will be ordering more paints and kits to be able to enjoy the summer break.

Thank you for reading!

Yap section: I thought the paint would cover up the mold defects but it couldn’t so big oof there. Yes, I should have used a primer BUT I didn’t have a white/grey/silver primer on hand so I had to work with what I had lol.

Anyways, the next kits should be delivered today which are the NSX, RX-7 Efini and GTO. 💸💸💸

2nd ever model kit from Tamiya this time with better tools and more experience! The kit did not come with window masks which was a HUGE pain in the a** but after watching plenty of tutorials, I made my own and it was a success (not perfect but it’s good enough).

I underestimated the power of the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, it’s a game changer and with a little bit of patience made super glue is optional. First time using Mr. Mark Softer and Setter, still need more practice using these but hey improvements.

One more kit left which is the R34 V-Spec and it will be the kit that I will start spray painting the body and parts (wish me luck) and then after that, it’s time to order more kits lmao.

Thank you for reading.
