I noticed the tub had almost completely stopped draining and began backing up 5 days ago. I used a hair snake (plastic drain snake with teeth) to remove a pretty gross hair clog. The issue did not get any better.
I did also treat the drain with an enzyme based solution called Bio-Clean to try and remedy as well. No dice. I’ve used this twice a day for 3 days.

Then I tried snaking with an auger and dumping hot water in the drain, hoping to clear up debris. No dice.
Then I started plunging. It’s began draining somewhat faster but now I’ve noticed a leak, I assume from the plunging I did.

How would I go about repairing this leak? I’d love to learn and DIY this but also don’t know if it’s time to call in the big guns to repair. I’m pretty handy but plumbing is a weak point for me.

Had this fella dropped in my lap at 6~ weeks old after a failed adoption attempt. He was set to go to the pound and I just couldn’t stomach that. I’m thinking Border Collie + Husky mix. He looks so much like the border collies in my neighborhood but I truthfully don’t know.
