I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately because I see such diverse opinions. Some people say love is calm and stable, while others describe it as intense and emotional. I’m trying to understand how people experience it in real life, since it seems different for everyone. At what point did you realize it was true love and not just a crush or strong attraction? I often find myself confused about the difference between genuine love and infatuation, especially when emotions feel very strong at the beginning.

I’m also curious if time is the main factor, or if there are specific signs or moments that make it clear. Sometimes people say you “just know,” but I don’t fully understand what that means in practice. I’d really like to hear different perspectives and personal experiences, because I feel like everyone defines it in their own way and it’s hard to know what is truly real.

TL;DR: I want to understand how people distinguish real love from infatuation based on their real experiences.
