Making a capeless account and after getting stuck by the game mechanics at the first spirit gate, I was finally able to proceed past Isle of Dawn with the help of an alt account.

But I'm going back for the spirits and I can't see them? I was able to get the spirits in Daylight Prairie but the main spirits from Isle aren't visible and even triggering them on my alt wouldn't give them to me.

Is this normal for capeless accounts?

Just practicing krill dodging and position myself in its usual path and for no reason - with no one else in the server - it decides to just scooch around me 🙃
