Vague information:

I remember plaing a game 20-30 years ago or so.. A "diablo-clone". You could play as 3-4 different starting characters.. A bit silly character choises.. one was a female baker starting with a rolling pin. You could aquire loot and gain skills! Even mutations (like 4 legs) I remember I had a build where I could spread plague across the entire map.. I think it was isometric or semi-top down.
