Is getting full (60) credits in a year hard?

If there are people already studying or who have studied in Italy in this group, I have some questions for them (especially the engineering students).

Each year have 60 credits and you have to earn all of them to be a next year student, and technically it should not be extremely hard to earn all those 60 credits in first year. However, from what I see in the internet, other people, and how much low base credits are to hold scholarships (20-30), I am starting to question, if is it really hard to earn full credits in first year?

I have currently applied to an engineering bachelor's and am planning to transfer to another engineering degree at a top university before my second year. However, I am starting to worry about whether I can earn all the credits in my first year, or if I can achieve it with a high GPA. I don't exactly know how the system works, and as I've seen, many students take more than three years to graduate. So I don't know if it is too hard to get all those credits, or if people prefer to take some time for themselves instead of fully focusing on university?

I have 1210 SAT (670math) score. I know it is low but do I have any chance to get into a English-taught Engineering bachelor's program in Sapienza? My IELTS score is 7.
