[Tool] PoGo Raid Sim - Visual Raid Simulator & Raid Tier List

Hi everyone! I’m a long-time PokemonGo player. I wanted to build a raid tool that goes beyond just listing numbers, focusing on visualizing where each Pokemon stands in the current meta.

I’m excited to share my project: PoGo Raid Sim.

Key Features

1. Precise Raid Simulation

  • Engine Rebuilt from Scratch: I’ve implemented a custom simulation engine based on the community's deep research into raid mechanics.
  • Customizable Boosts: Simulate your full battle party (up to 6 members) against any raid boss. It supports Weather, Party Power, Friendship levels, and Adventure Effects. (Note: Mega Boosts are being calculated and will be added soon!)
  • Visual Data Analysis: Results are plotted on a DPS-TDO Scatter Plot. I’ve also included ER (Total Power) contour lines on the chart, making it easy to see the "power tiers" at a glance.
  • Real-time Top Counter Search: Set a boss and instantly find the best counters. It calculates combinations in real-time. (Optimization for complex movesets is ongoing!)

2. Interactive Tier Lists

  • Neutral vs. Practical Performance: Switch between raw power (Neutral) and type-specific effectiveness (Practical).
    • Practical Mode: This measures the average performance against all types weak to the selected attack type.
  • Statistical Scoring (The 100% Baseline): Instead of arbitrary rankings, I use the Upper Fence of top-tier counters as the 100% baseline. Any Pokemon scoring over 100% is a statistical "Outlier," indicating overwhelming performance in that type (e.g., Heatran's utility is highly valued in Practical Fire-type rankings).
  • "My Pokemon" Benchmark: You can input your own Pokemon's Level and IVs to see exactly where it sits on the global tier list. It’s a great way to see if your Lv.35 Shadow is better than a Lv.50 non-Shadow.

I’m currently working on adding Shadow Raid (Enraged mode) simulations and refining the Mega Boost application.

This tool is a work in progress, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! Whether it’s a bug report, a feature suggestion, or feedback on the UI/UX, please feel free to leave a comment or use the in-app feedback button.

I hope this tool helps you build your ultimate raid teams!
