so it’s probably from the 80s or maybe a little earlier. I was less than 9 when I saw some of it. there is a scene, where us troops are loading into some sort of open air jeep. they all know what they are about to do is the end of them, but they have to do it. I guess maybe because it’s better than being captured, going out in a hail of gun fire. I believe it was set in Vietnam. they drop the jeep through a village (I think?) and yep, all toasted.
I saw this when I was young and remember asking my father why they did that. he said something about “death before dishonor”.
i know with out a doubt it’s not the big name movies. it’s not FMJ, platoon, HHIll, Gloria, flight of intruder, and of the Rambo’s, uncommon valor, company c. i saw it on tv around 91 at the absolute latest.
i just want to see if I can watch it as an adult. fogured id come here !
