We have an old dryer in my house that we brought in from the nearby property my grandmother owns, after the previous dryer gave up the ghost. Is it normal for them to heat less and leave static? Grandma says she has to put the clothes through 2 drying cycles, which could explain the static. (Because they're super dry the second time.) The first time, she says isn't hot enough and leaves clothes slightly damp. Is that a heating element problem, or a wiring problem? Keep in mind it wasn't in use for over 10 years, IINM.
