Detective Fiction Recommendations
Hello fellow readers!
This might be very niche question but if you don't ask, you don't get.
I'm getting through quite a few books at the moment and am wondering whether anyone had any recommendations based on theirown experience & preferences! In particular, I'm looking for recommendations on detective/mystery fiction novels (or "whodunits").
For context, I've been reading a lot of detective/mystery novels, particularly those set in Japan. For example, I've read each of thetranslated books by Seishi Yokomizo, Yukito Ayatsuji, Akimitsu Takagi and Uketsu. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I actually fellinto the genre because I was attracted to the cover of the "Honjin Murders", took a punt on it and then wanted to read more andmore. I've pretty much scoured the Pushkin Press catalogue for upcoming releases, but wanted to try and broaden my horizons.
Has anyone got any recommendations on other authors to try? (NB: I'm open to any general recommendations in the genre ofdetective fiction, it doesn't have to be limited to just those set in Japan!).
