How good/bad is coop at mac for engineering, especially for first years and how does it compare to Waterloo and UfT, is it significantly worse?

I got in mac engineering this round and was given the free choice as I had a 97+ average. But I am confused do I need to maintain a 97 or more to keep the free choice or do I just need to maintain over the normal conditions of the offer that is an 85 to keep the free choice?
