I was the president of a not-quite mainstream political club in undergrad that wasn't like Communist Party USA but wasn't the College Democrats either. I am not planning to write about it in my PS or essays because it frankly isn't very relevant to my reasoning for law school but it took up a lot of my time in undergrad, I was an officer all four years, went to a national conference etc. so I don't want to leave it off my resume. Should I just put it on my resume and leave it at that? Massage it in some way? The way I have it written now highlights the community service type stuff we did less so than the political advocacy, but I'm not sure if it's too much of a liability to have on there at all. I don't have any C&F issues associated with it, fwiw.

I've searched the sub but there aren't a lot of recent posts and the political climate in higher ed is different now. And anyway most of them are asking if it's okay that they canvassed for Joe Biden or whatever or something else uncontroversial.

3.79/175 splitter. 2 years WE as a litigation paralegal (will be 3 by the time I attend) and have a master's. Trying to limit my list so I can spend the time to put together a personalized application but I'm worried I might be aiming too high. Goals are public interest. Also I can't live in Chicago for personal reasons.

EDIT: Adding USC, Boston U, Minnesota, and GW. Also I will be going back in time to get a better GPA
