Canadian moving to Allen, Texas (North Dallas) Rental Advice
We are moving to Allen Texas this July. Having a heck of a time trying to find a rental that suits our family. More in the sense that we don’t have American Credit or American jobs lined up. We sold our family home and have a great down payment for a home once we establish our credit and jobs.
Any advice on how we can secure a rental home? There is some on the market we have seen, but when I called to inquire one agent said their client would never rent to a person who is new to the country, even with a larger deposit or a few months of rent up front.
Feeling really frustrated and overwhelmed!! Any insight would be great!!! My husband is American and I have a LPR card, also have SSNs, but no credit attached yet, we only have Canadian credit history.
