Not really seeing a lot of discussion for this course anywhere really. I'd really appreciate anyone in/done this course sharing their experience.
I'm a musician currently based in the US. And part of the reason of applying to schools in EU is to get out of this politically and socially disappointing country lol. Also London seems to have a more developed or cohesive? sound art community than say NYC. My goal is to develop collaborative practice between sound and other mediums say fashion, performance, perfumery, etc. which all seems to have better or more opportunities in EU than US.
I've heard mixed things about both LCC and sound arts course. I don't really mind the lack of structure or you-have-to-learn-everythin-by-yourself cuz that's kinda my whole undergrad experience lol. But I will say I have been struggling with connecting with Chinese international students, and I heard there's like at least 60% of intl students in LCC? If anyone in Sound Arts I'd really like to know about this as well, much appreciated.
