So I stumbled across this TikTok video that claims Nick Shirley the “independent journalist” behind the Somali day care controversy was essentially manipulated into creating a propaganda for ICE. A republican lobbyist gave him all the information on the daycares a day before the plan to deploy ICE into Minneapolis was announced. His video was then boosted by Trumps cronies like Kash Patel, who claimed it was just the tip of the iceberg,Vance or Elon Musk, who ended up giving Shirley 100 000$ . Noem repeatedly mentioned the video as part of her justification for ICE involvement in Minneapolis. That idiot Shirley essentially created the perfect propaganda piece for scaring conservatives into accepting ICE presence.
Normally I am very sceptical about these kinds videos, especially on TikTok but then again this administration is involved in so much corruption and fucked up bullshit that this seems right up their alley. Plus the Shirley kid is such a fucking moron, he can’t be very hard to manipulate.
