So i plugged my dashcam into the rearview mirror using the dongar and i am now looking into the dashcam that records even when ignition is off. Whats the easiest way to go about without having to go through the trouble of hardwiring? Is there a way i can get constant power into the rearview mirror?

Ive seen threads saying the 1.8 is alot better but how much more worth is the extra money? The 1800 rn reconditioned is going for 63$. And a 1.8gpm is 170$. Id end up needing to buy a shortwand for the 1800 so that would put me at about like 110 anyways. Which should i go for?
