Minoxidil once a day results

M, 40. I’ve always had a mature hairline, around Norwood 2, but late last year my temples really started receding, and I started to have diffuse thinning at the front. I started to notice lots of hairs in my comb, and decent amount of sheddimg. The first picture shows it at its worst. I think age, genetics (dad is bald), and a period of chronic stress really didn’t help.

As of mid October, I started using topical minoxidil. I initially struggled with side effects like nausea, and dizziness - I consulted a doctor friend who told me to try using it once a day. I actually found I acclimated to the drug within a week, no more sides, and once a day was fine for me.

Within three and a half weeks, I saw little baby hairs awaken. Luckily, I appear to be a strong responder. I also use Waterman’s GrowMe shampoo + conditioner, which has things like rosemary and caffeine - supposedly natural DHT blockers. I’m reluctant to go on fin, I’d rather do things over-the-counter if I can.

The rest of the photos are from today. I know it still looks like there’s recession at the temples (there is, a little), but this is closer to my natural stable hairline all through my 20s and most of my 30s. I probably could start doing min a twice a day.
