Karan Aujla Concert

After seeing both and live, I can honestly say Diljit puts on a way better performance. Went into the Karan concert in Toronto and excited, but the first 45 mins felt like straight lip syncing Expected way more actual live singing, energy, and crowd interaction for the price paid. Pretty disappointing overall. Felt like a spotify list playing. Was a huge Aujla fan very disappointed. Paid over $250 of hard earned money and now a disappointed Aujla fan.

Avoid Copper Key Whitby

Still in shock over how badly a restaurant handled a serious mistake tonight and on Mother’s Day weekend of all times.

Wr havw been vegetarian our entire life 65 years. We specifially ordered a vegetarian quesadilla, but the restaurant served one with chicken instead. She unknowingly ate some before realizing. Anyone who has religious or lifelong dietary restrictions knows this isn’t just “oops wrong order” it’s deeply upsetting.

What made it worse was the way the staff and management handled it.

When we calmly brought it up to the manager, he literally laughed. No apology. No concern. Nothing. When I went to go ask for the managers business card, The owner who was standing there ommediately became defensive instead of taking accountability. They admitted their own server was “confused” while taking the order, yet somehow kept defending the situation instead of simply apologizing and making it right.

At one point, while we were literally standing there with the bill in hand waiting to pay, the owner decided to call the cops on our family instead of de-escalating the situation like adults. Even the police who arrived seemed confused about why they had been called and told the owner the situation was unnecessary and poorly handled.

The most disgusting part was having our religious and cultural sentiments around vegetarianism laughed at and dismissed like they were a joke. Whether someone avoids meat for religion, ethics, or health reasons, it deserves basic respect.

Instead of enjoying time with our mom, the entire night turned stressful, humiliating, and upsetting. They completely ruined our Mother’s Day celebration.

Mistakes happen in restaurants. What defines a business is how they handle them. This place chose arrogance, mockery, and escalation instead of accountability.

Avoid this restaurant.

A few details I forgot to add: I had 3 young kids with me who thanks to this incident will be traumatized of eating out. I did not dine and dash I did pay my bill. The cops said this was a pathetic use of their time. Note to parents avoid this embarrasment of a restaurant.
