I’m on an European trip and I just saw Rome. Granted I didn’t spend that much time in it and it was pretty and fun BUT it’s a lot of walking and a lot of old, historical sites. I do want to come back because I feel like there’s soooo much to see in the city. But, it’s definitely not my kinda vacation and definitely not what my definition of a honeymoon would be and I have a feeling she would feel the same too.

Which, don’t get me wrong was great! But, my husband was more excited than me. He’s a history nerd and I can’t see Ayla as a history nerd. The buildings and stuff were pretty. Vatican City was great.

However, we made our way down to Amalfi and this seems to be THE vibe at least for someone like me and probably Ayla. A nice coastal town. There’s nice hotels and private beaches. I’ve heard Capri is even nicer, so why does she want to go to Rome?

If I did Rome wrong please correct me.

I just got the mini Loewe font tote in raffia as a gift. I love it but there’s absolutely no leather or lining on the bag except for the leather straps. It’s all around straw.

I’m not someone who baby my leather and canvas bags (I’m prone to tossing them around and overfilling) but straw feels really delicate and I’d love to have this bag last as long as possible.

Any tips on storage? Also, is this bag meant to be filled or is it strictly for aesthetics.
