Confused about Lexie

I didn’t watch Dream Academy, but read Lexie left the show because she wanted to work behind the scenes as a producer instead. I’m wondering if anyone knows or if it’s been said why she changed her mind to get onstage with Saint Satine.

Today is the last day to for AMAs

Haven’t seen seeing nearly enough about this on main, but please go vote for Twice on the AMAs site for Best Female K-Pop artist TODAY. It’s the last day to vote, they’ve been posting about it, and we know they really want and deserve it. Let’s rally for the last day!

It should go without saying–and dare I say we can all agree–no matter where you stand on current events, that HxG has shit the bed in regard to managing the group. So if you could clock in tomorrow as Katseye’s primary management, what are the first things you would do?

For me…

  1. To be expected, the very first thing I would do is address and be transparent about what’s going on with Manon. I would put out a written press release AND THEN I would have her go on a solo live and tell us herself what’s been going on. I am a very firm believer she was put on forced hiatus and between that week and Coachella, something very significant changed. I would give fans answers immediately.

  2. I would do whatever needed to be done to get her back with the group. I do not believe what’s happened is because of drama and discord with the other members. I might be a naive dummy because I’ve been watching a crap ton of content lately, but it’s hard for me to believe their relationships with each other have all been a total act. I think whatever happened is something solely between Manon and the company.

  3. I would put them ALL TOGETHER on a live to talk about what’s happened and discuss how it’s personally affected them to knock out the speculation.

  4. I would turn off comments on all their socials for two or three months and, in a very obnoxious kpop controlling way, take their devices away except to talk to family. This would be a reasonable amount of time for all the dust to clear and limit distractions to focus on themselves as a group. Also, in that time hopefully the fandom can unclench, calm down, and chill the hell out.

  5. Replace all current songwriters, producers, and choreographers with people who are capable of putting together a strong body of work that can be taken seriously and built to last instead of the hits of crack cocaine tweaking we’re getting now.

  6. I’d lock them into a month-long songwriting camp. In these camps, writers get inspiration from each other and the artists. Get some ideas, write a crap ton, narrow it down 12 songs that can show off their vocals, and get them in the studio to make a FULL-LENGTH ALBUM.

  7. I’d wind them back to near where they started with the y2k-2010s pop sound and incorporate R&B, as well. Walk with me here and imagine Aaliyah, TLC, and Destiny’s Child’s type bops and choreo. That would absolutely bang and they would kill that.

  8. No more festivals and get them on a yearlong world tour. North America, South America, Europe, Ghana, the Philippines, South Korea, India, Australia, China, and maybe Japan.

  9. Change the wardrobe. I’m not trying to be an Amish puritan, but I’m so damn tired of the butt cheeks. Just my personal preference.

  10. I would limit their brand deals to two max. I’d go for an ad series campaign with Gap or maybe Calvin Klein.

What would you guys do as Katseye management?

Is anyone besides me religiously voting for TWICE to get the AMAs every day? I am aware my parasocialism is up, but I think the win would make them super happy and they deserve it more than the other groups nominated (imo). They’re also counting hashtags on the second pinned post on the AMAs IG page (I’m voting for #femalekpoptwice.

Let’s do it for them, ONCEs!
