Hiring Issues - but still hiring [upto $100 per video]

Hey Folks,

Hope all is well. Some time back I posted a freelancer gig. Let me tell you what happens when someone is hiring, and it's not fun at all

  1. Overwhelming DMs with "Hey there" - what should I do with this?
  2. Lack of patience: I am going through each messages, it takes time
  3. Garbage applicants: As an editor if you spend 5 mins look at creators channel and send the relevant work, it really helps. But barely people do that
  4. Ghosting: I typically share the whole process upfront, if there is a 30 second demo clip, it's a requirement. I have never gotten a job without an interview to showcase my skills, I can't expect to pay someone until I can see the value they bring onto the table
  5. Commitment: There is a set timeline to deliver a work, If I am expecting you to deliver a video in 7 days, but you are unable to product a demo clip in 48 hours, this won't work
  6. Communication: For some reason you are unable to deliver in 48 hours, the lack of communication baffles me

Anyways, I am still looking for someone - if you meet the above requirement - happy to connect.

Note: I am fully aware that there are similar frustrations from editor side too.
