So I try this climb....
I have known this spot for a long time now, I have never tried it before. It's a moderate step, the camera doesn't do it justice of course.
Trick is there are quite a hole on opposite sides, and they are positioned so that Suspension needs to really work and most of the time you have the weight of the car on two wheels plus 3 supporting to balance. Sorry complicated description but that's how I imagined the situation while driving.
Additionally you have quite a high bank on the left and right side. So I look on the spot and decide that the bigger hole is on the left so I will try to approach the right so when the car will lean to the left I will not scratch the side. So I try once, I try second and so on. Later I try with the rear diff lock and then I start to slide to the right and get dangerously close to the tree. I was thinking it's because I lock the rear diff but longer I think about it is starting to seem counterintuitive.
In the end I didn't make it up.. The problem was that once you lock the rear diff you loose front wheel traction control, so the rear is pushing but the front is just spinning. That will make digging faster on the back...
Sorry for the quality of the video, it's a mix of languages and it's not that dramatic...
I think I probably could turn more left and floor it with traction control and diff open and I probably could get away from the tree but I want to play it safe. So white flag it was and winching to safety...
