Hi everyone, first time posting here.
Last november I found in my house a Pioneer PL-Z85 that I thought it needed some repairs. When they call me back it was just a belt and stylus replace so I was finally able to start my collection. I use it with the rest of the stereo that I own that includes amplifier and preamp, a Pioneer DC-Z75 (u can see it in the pictures).
This last weeks I been wanting to make the step and buy a turntable that helps me appreciate more the sound. At first I was looking for something new and modern and thought that the Audio-Technica AT-LP120X was the correct answer but someone recomend me to search a vintage one. I went to the same place I sent my Pioneer for repair to see what they have and they offered me a Technics SL-Q2 and a Pioneer PL-560 (similar price, the Technics a bit less), both in a resonable price if everything is working (at least is resonable with the prices here in Argentina).
Do you think it´s a good purchase? I´m looking for something definitive that I only need to change de stylus in the future.
What do you recomend me to check in the turntable before buying it?
Thanks!
