Aren't the clones of Dean and hank first generation?

I know that they died 14 times but they were placed in clone bodies that were made about the same time.

I would understand if they die and rusty made new clone bodies from those and they decay every time.

Or if rusty decided to keep the originals and make new clones so they keep as close genetically to the originals

But this 14 times means nothing because it's no different than them dieing the first time due to the same generation clones bodies are being used?
