Today I had a look into my Customer Service Stats, drilled down into "On-time despatch and tracking" only to see "7 orders missing tracking info".

I always add tracking info so I downloaded my order history. Then I saw that several of my orders were showing as despatched late.

When I checked the individual orders I had in fact despatched them on or before time.

I contacted Etsy support via chat who offered me several potential reasons for this, such as:

  • Adding the tracking reference after completing the order
  • Not using a supported carrier

I always add a tracking while completing the order and I use the same supported carrier for all my sales.

They are escalating my case to be looked into by the customer care team.

Is it just me or are other sellers stats showing incorrectly?

Considering how much we pay in fees and that not meeting Etsy "Standards" can impact our shops search visibility etc. I'd be interested to know how many other sellers are affected by this.
