Thinking it is about time to retire my Novablasts at 600kms and have been considering just getting another pair, but the common complaint of the early loss of bounciness has me thinking of other options.
I am 2 months out from my 2nd half-marathon, aiming for a sub-2 hour time. My training generally looks like 3 runs/wk with a speed run, easy run, and long run hitting ~30kms per week at this stage.
Have been looking at the Evo SL or the NB 1080s to change things up. Would love to hear what you guys all think?
My current shoe rotation:
Novablast 5 (600km) - Long/Easy
ASICS Noosa Tri 16 (60km) - Interval/Tempo/Speed (won these in a raffle - not too sure if they are a good shoe?)
I don't think I can justify buying a separate race shoe and daily trainer at the moment so was hoping I could find one that fits under both of these umbrellas. Budget roughly $250AUD
