I (19F) have worked for several months at a very, very popular attraction in my state. It’s quite nice— there are various things to do. We’ve got park rides, shops, bars, stages… But what I want to focus on is the haunted house.
OKAY! So! I’ve gone to this stupid thing since I was five years old. I’m a horror geek- always have been. And the haunted house that’s literally maybe a minute or so away from my job is fascinating. It’s always renovating; if you go in, you never know what you’ll get. I did find one constant, though. Roughly three months ago I went into it with a friend of mine, and there was a scare actor there who- I kid you not- sounded JUST like Alex Brightman’s Beetlejuice. I thought that was the coolest thing! He was mainly behind walls for the duration of the walk-through so I couldn’t get a look at him, but he was funny. He bantered back at MY banter, which I appreciated. (Note: my banter isn’t heckling or at all rude to the actors. I tend to go with scaredy cats, and they make it through much easier when I’m cracking jokes as we walk.)
So anyway, last Friday I went with another friend of mine and his little sister. My shift ended, it was nearly midnight, and well. Why not? So I blew 40$ on his little sister’s ticket and my own, he bought his, and we went in.
He was there again. Excited, I fell right back into the bantering, and I couldn’t tell if he remembered me or not. (I’m not delusional. He likely didn’t.) BUT. When we came out of the haunted house at the end, he was there, waiting in the hall. In all of my years going through said haunted house, that has NEVER happened to me. I didn’t even know he was allowed out of his position like that. He spoke to us for a minute or two out of character, encouraged friends’ little sister and I to apply for a job since we both said we’re interested, and he left after giving friend’s little sister a high five. Weird behavior, considering we were at a HAUNTED HOUSE. But hey, maybe I’m reading too much into that.
Anyway. Between the banter inside and the conversation we had for a moment outside of the house, he seems cool. And, well— 19 is a good time to do stupid things. I don’t want to interrupt him while he’s working, but I plan to give him this note the next time I see he’s on shift. (P.S.: I’ll be warning him that it’s a little long when I hand it to him. Since we barely (if at all) have an understanding of the other’s personality, I figured I’d try to get a bit of mine down on paper for him to pick up on. Short notes are practical but in my opinion, they can seem quite lazy.)

Hi, my name is ***!
Please pardon the fact that this is a note, lol. Normally I would say all of this but you’re working and I’d hate to risk somehow getting you in trouble. I wasn’t even sure that this was going to work, but if you’re reading this I clearly managed to get it to you, and that’s a win!
I work here at *** down at the ***, and I’ve gone through this haunted house dozens of times over the years. I will say, though, that you’ve got a real talent at standing out in your job. Maybe it’s because you spoke to us out of character after the house last weekend, or maybe it’s because all three times you’ve made me laugh by playing along with the banter I tend to do to calm down the people I’m with, but you genuinely seem like an interesting, nice person. If you’d like to take that compliment as is, please do! But I’ll leave my number as well just in case you’d ever consider texting me! :)

Okay, help a girl out! Is my note good? I didn’t want to come across as creepy at all (because where we work creeps are common), and I certainly didn’t want to interrupt him at his job. So, sadly, a long-ish letter is all I could think of to say what I needed to say.
I think it’s good, but I want opinions before Friday. I’ve never actually taken the initiative to do something like this before, and I’m insanely proud of myself for trying. I’m not even solely aiming for a date; I’d be just fine with becoming friends with him! We’ll see how it goes, but before then— anything y’all see that should be changed? :)
